Panda Pencil leads were made in the USA and were packaged, labeled, marketed and sold using the Imperial measurement scale: inches, not millimeters.
Tomato, tomaaahto, we suppose . . . but it just felt wrong to market American-made leads in the language of the importers who drove Panda out of business.. That's why we sell lead as measured in inches; however, for those who have become accustomed to the metric system . . .
