The Model 3 Series is for those who prefer a slimmer pencil, approximately the girth of a regular wood pencil but equipped with the classic Autopoint-style mechanism. Each pencil is fitted with a Pentel PDE-1 eraser (available on our website) and loaded with one of our 1.1mm/.046" "Wet Noodles" leads.
The Model 39 "Bigelow" pattern is named in honor of Herbert Bigelow, whose firm, Brown and Bigelow, featured this pattern on the company's "Redipoint" aluminum pencils in the late 1910s and early 1920s.
