For the first time in recent memory, collectors of Victorian pencils now have a steady and reliable supply of the most common size used on nineteenth-century pencils.
These are unwaxed leads. Since tolerances on early Victorians varied widely, these leads will fit some pencils perfectly and will be a little loose in others. To compensate for leads which fit a bit loose, you can gently crimp the tip of your pencil (with the lead in it) in order to assure a proper fit.
Twelve 1 3/8" leads to a tube. Made in USA.
